I apologize for the long silence. Immediately after the unsuccessful test of the dryer with a thermometer, I called the store (this is this one -
🔗 - on Science, 21). The girl-seller, who was there the day before, worked that day and, apparently, remembered my husband and I, but when she heard about the problem she was puzzled and asked my phone again, motivating that she could not decide anything herself and had to call someone ( I really wanted to ask, what about the consumer rights law). In general, I was left to wait for a call from her. A few minutes later she called me back and, in a rather displeased tone, began to ask again everything that I had already told her. Then she stated that the instructions say that the dryer dries the product in 14-16 hours, and I did not measure the temperature during this time and, perhaps, the dryer simply did not have time to dial it. I had to argue that we are not talking about the drying time and getting the final product, but about the device reaching the set temperature, and an hour should have been enough for this, especially if I had laid vegetables, the temperature on the trays with vegetables would have been even lower ... I also said that all dryers have the time to reach the set temperature: both the Sukhoveys and Isidri, and this is not the time for drying the product (I also mentioned that I studied not only different options for dryers, but also the experience of using them on the Bread Maker. RU). "She read the forum!" - the saleswoman snorted. In general, she tried to convince me that I misunderstand everything and do it wrong. This behavior was a surprise to me, because now, if suddenly some such problems happen, the stores usually go to meet them and either change the unsuccessful product or return the money - not a single similar proposal from the girl was heard, only an unhappy tone and attempts accuse me of not getting it right. After all this, I realized that I didn't want to exchange anything also because, given the previous conversation, I didn't want to deal with this store (not to mention that the problem might not be in a particular dryer, but in the whole batch or in models in general). I told the girl that I wanted to return the dryer. She said again that she would call someone. I called back a couple of minutes later and allowed me to bring the dryer in the morning the next day.
The next morning my husband and I went there for the opening of the store. There was a man at the seller's place (as we later understood, the owner of the store, apparently). Listen, this is the first time I've encountered such behavior !!! At first he spoke to us in annoyance, and then it turned into obvious indignation, except that it didn't come to outright insults and shouts! The saleswoman next to him was different, she stood shyly on the sidelines, listening to his attacks. "What kind of thermometer did you measure? Do you have a special thermometer for dryers?" I showed him the thermometer with which I was measuring, and asked where he saw "special thermometers for dryers", since there are no such thermometers in nature. He began to resent that every dryer is being tested at the factory, and he will take the test results from the manufacturer and poke me! "Of course, it is better to buy Isidri for 15 thousand! - (At this point, the husband could not resist and calmly inserted:" We will do so. ") -I will tell you: you will be bitterly disappointed. Oh, I would like to see your eyes after that, but, sorry, I won't see !!! " He switched to my husband with his indignation: he began to assert that "a street thermometer can only measure the temperature of standing, that is, still air, and suggested" to make a correction for the wind when measuring the temperature, "and also said that" if we did not study in school physics, then these are our problems. "During the hike, my uncle himself did not take anything from the school physics course, including the concept of dry and wet thermometers. My husband objected that a dry thermometer measures air temperature, regardless of whether it is standing or moving. , the joke is that my husband designs ventilation and air conditioning systems and is familiar with all this firsthand. This is what we told the uncle. But she did not listen to us: "We will gladly take the dryer back from you, because we have them few!!! And you buy Isidri, I would like to see how disappointed you are! "This was repeated several times and tuned in to the thought that the husband later expressed - it means a worthwhile thing (" Good boots - you need to take "- a quote from" Office Novel ")! which in such an indignant tone and so insistently this uncle spoke, turned out to be the best advertisement (even at that moment I realized that the height of the trays was no longer important to me - in my grandmother's village, too, they once dried in one layer in the sun in one layer - and nothing!) ...In general, it all ended with the fact that the uncle demanded that we write a statement, which he will show to the manufacturer "so that they neigh in production, how we measured the temperature in the dryer with a street thermometer" and that we indicate all this there. What my husband did: he scrupulously described the essence of the problem, that the temperature at the stated 60 degrees does not rise above 46-48 and that a deviation of a couple of degrees is permissible, but not 12-15. The application was given to the saleswoman, since the uncle had already left by that time. We got the money back and went home, discussing that the uncle, apparently, did not realize what kind of anti-advertising he was doing to his store with his behavior, and also that the Isidri that was sprinkled with mud on it was probably not so bad, despite the price. I quoted to my husband one of the posts of Admin that Isidri was expensive even 20 years ago and since then it has only become more expensive and not only has not left the market, but is also being successfully sold, and that says something. To which the husband said that in ventilation there are also companies that are very scrupulous about the choice of dealers and pricing, and they exist perfectly in the conditions of fierce competition, and gave examples from his work.
So this is how our adventure with Walter ended: I wanted it cheaper, but because of the store I lost the desire to exchange the device. Moreover, the husband rightly noted that troubles with a temperature mismatch can be in other copies - you cannot exchange them. This, of course, does not mean that the dryer was bad: it worked, which means it would dry and, perhaps, not bad (it works great for others), but I need all the declared capabilities of the purchased device, otherwise what am I paying money for? As the saying goes, a negative result is also a result. Now I will dig up some money and will look closely at the "anti-advertised" man Isidri - my husband promised for his birthday !!!
Admin,
Radomir84,
sveta-LanaThank you so much for your support - it helped a lot! Otherwise, there would be no patience for such communication with the store.
P.S. I would like to offer the Voltera manufacturer recommendations: add to the instructions an item stating that the temperature on the scale of the dryer is approximate (and indicate the error), or replace the nameplate with the degrees indicated on the dryer with just mode numbers where the specific temperature is not indicated (as is done in dryers Summer resident), and again reflect this in the instructions. This will allow manufacturers and their dealers to avoid questions about temperature inconsistencies with the stated data.
