Chicken Pot Pie IX

Ingredients

Chicken legs 2 pcs
Carrot 1 PC
Onion 1 PC
Celery stalk 1 PC
Green pea 2 handfuls
Butter 3 tbsp. l
Milk 0.5 tbsp.
Salt 1/2 tsp
Ground pepper 1/4 tsp
Flour 1 sec. l
Puff pastry 250g

Cooking method

  • Grate the carrots, finely chop the onion.
  • Chicken Pot Pie IX
  • Cut the celery stalk into small pieces

  • Cut chicken legs into small pieces (instead of legs, you can use a drumstick or fillet)
  • Chicken Pot Pie IX
  • In a saucepan, combine chicken, green peas and celery. Cover with water and cook for 15 minutes. Remove from heat, strain and set aside.

  • In a frying pan in butter, fry the onions and carrots until soft. Add flour, salt and pepper to taste. Slowly add a little chicken stock and milk. Simmer over medium heat until thickened. Remove from heat and set aside.

  • Grease the pot with oil, put half of the dough on the bottom.
  • Place the chicken mixture on top,

  • Fly in gravy

  • Cover the top with the 2nd part of the dough (cut off the excess dough), make several small cuts to let the steam out.

  • Bake in a preheated 180C oven for 30 minutes or until the dough is golden brown.

I did it for testing) Of course, the recipe is called a pie, but you can't cut it into pieces in a pot! I got it very juicy, because I added a sauce, then I added broth from myself)))) This dish is convenient to make in small pots for everyone - on top of the dough instead of bread in a bite with delicious juicy carrots!
