After 5-6 days, they see clearly, then gradually fledge and fly out of the nest on the 35-45th day. Parents feed their chicks with their burps. Therefore, it is advisable to feed the parrots 3-4 times a day during the breeding season. At this crucial moment, birds especially need a variety of food. Chicks need proteins the most. They should be given mealworms, ant eggs, boiled meat. Sprinkle the food with crushed shells. Parrots, when they feed chicks, need extended daylight hours. With the onset of darkness, you need to turn on the electricity. As soon as the chicks leave the nest, they are removed from their parents in a separate cage. The first time they need to be fed with special food. Two parts of dry biscuits are mixed with one part of ant eggs, this mixture is moistened with grated apple or carrot juice.
