My first houses this year - as a gift for Catholic Christmas.
Lyuba. So beautiful!!!!
I will return to the question of assembling houses.
My house, which I glued with caramel, began to fall apart. As Lyuba said. Caramel started to "cry"
Lyuba, what beautiful houses. It is necessary to make a master class on assembly as a separate topic. How much patience does it take to decorate. Masterpiece.
Pretty little houses! How many details !!! But only the photo does not reveal the beauty !!!!!!!!
These are the first houses as a gift for our Catholic friends. The children were taken to the office (so that they would not occupy a place at home. I asked for a photo - they took them only from the front. Tomorrow they will shoot from the back). And today I bake the following 2.
Prus - 2
Very beautiful houses, super snowy, like we have on the street now
Girls, dear, thanks for the praise!
Lyuba, there are no words, how beautiful! Well, how can you eat this?
Tanyushenka, dear! Very tasty to eat! The main thing is that they stand for a long time - you can admire from the heart!
Lyuba - the most elegant houses! Lovely!
Lyuba, what a beauty! Something unattainable for me. I admire from the side. Maybe someday I will also decide.
In general, I constantly admire your creations, I just rarely write.
Annushka!
Thank you my dear! But trying to bake is a must! I baked for the first time last year, everything worked out! And this year you need to bake 5 pieces! Today I baked the 3rd, tomorrow I will decorate.
julifera!
Very very nice!
Lyubochka, I'm just delighted! What a beauty, do not come off! What are you smart!
Lidochka, dear!
Thanks for the praise!
With those approaching!
Prus - 2, wonderful houses. Share how you make such wonderful icicles, I can't
AUV - Yulichka! Can we do icing differently? I make - 2 proteins +1/2 teaspoons of lemons - beat with a mixer into a strong, strong foam, then gradually knead with a teaspoon of 300 g of fine powdered sugar. Then at the lowest speed of the mixer I mix it all until smooth. I have a round nozzle for fine work (and icicles) 01. With it I hook a point to the roof or window, press down a little and pull it down - it turns out an icicle. Last year I worked without a nozzle, just cut off a very small tip in a pastry bag.
Lyuba, thanks, I will try to do icing in this ode according to your method.
Do you pull it out until the icing thread breaks or you cut it? And I still can't see how and with what nozzle the roof is decorated?
I pull the icicle until it breaks. The roof is first covered with a pallet of approx. 5 mm (I align, but not much - it will still be closed with a pattern), and then with a closed asterisk (middle) I put flower dots in oblique squares. In the middle of each square she has a flower, and in it a sugar ball. On these houses - red, today I will do with blue, it is possible with multi-colored. You can paint icing and put colored dots. The roof is better seen on my last year's houses.
Prus-2 are very beautiful houses!
Can you share the stencils?
And your icing freezes and becomes dense, does not crumble?
Dashulka!
Stencil - there is an active link on the 1st page of the topic. I took it for a large house, but increased the roof by 2 cm both in length and in width. And the walls were reduced by the height of the lateral 10 cm (left the length), the height of the end (to the roof) 10 cm, length - 15 cm. The icing solidifies and is dense. Beautiful - like porcelain. Does not crumble.
Lyubasha, what a beauty! What a smart you are, I did 5 pieces the year before last, too. and the whole family helped me, played and left, and I was so tired with them that now it's hard to make up my mind, but the idea with pins is wonderful, I don't remember who wrote it, I will find it and I will definitely put a plus sign, suddenly I make up my mind, after your houses my hands were combed
Lyubochka, thanks! It's hard, of course, to bake so much (not even bake, but decorate). I just finished decorating the 3rd house. You also need to buy the figures, well, that's not a problem. I have all children (both) at work until late, there is no one to help. But at least they do not squeak that I cook every other day.
And you came up with great ideas with snowflakes, my houses were simpler and there was a Christmas tree and Santa Claus nearby, but the gingerbread ones, of course, not as bright as yours, but my friends and grandchildren, in spite of everything, were just delighted
what a beauty and the first time. And I am ashamed to admit, I heard and saw about them on the forum. we don't bake this
Lyubochka, how quickly icing freezes according to your recipe .... I'll probably go to read everything first, otherwise I run up and down. And I also bake bread, master a bread maker, I also run on all topics. Work on mistakes, so to speak. Probably we need to make the dough today for the houses, so that it will mature until tomorrow. Isn't there too much of it?
Well, here I am making a house of walls 10x18, 15x10x15 (attic), the roof is as in the drawing, but also + 2 cm in length and width. I roll it out about 0.5 - 0.7 cm. For the base on which the house stands, I take shortbread dough. I not only have enough dough for a house, but still a little left for gingerbread.
Lyuba and you do not have a scheme of the house would be very helpful. I also want to bake, but I can't find anywhere a schematic diagram like your house.
Regarding the stencil - here is the stencil for our topic
https://mcooker-enm.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=2187.0 - Here 1 cell = 1 cm. I took a stencil for a large house - I increased the roof by 2 cm in length and width. The end wall (before moving to the roof - the attic) I made 10 cm up (and to them + 15 cm the height of the attic) and 15 cm - the width of the wall. The side wall is 10 cm high, 18 cm wide. When I assemble the house, I glue the side walls to the end wall (the side walls do not protrude beyond the end) - a box of 15x20 cm is obtained (20 - because the end wall is about 1 cm thick). I camouflage all the joints at the corners well with icing with the "asterisk" nozzle - it turns out elegantly and additionally we strengthen the gluing points at the corners.
Vera! I didn't finish your question yesterday! The icing dries quickly, so that it can work normally, I do it for 2 proteins (+300 g of powder + 1/3 teaspoon of lemon + vanillin) as it is over - again for 2 proteins. I put the bowl with icing in a plastic bag, and put the cond in it next to it. bags with attachments, when you need to distract yourself or change the bag, pallet. That's all - so that the icing does not dry out. And I put 2 = 3 teaspoons into the bag - I worked it out - I put it next time. When I glue the marmalade - on the pipe and the foundation - I put icing in the lid for the jar, dip a piece of marmalade and fasten it to the gingerbread. And then, I go around all the pieces with a round nozzle 01 (you can just cut off a little bit of a bag or bag) - so you immediately get a finished look of the "wild stone" masonry made of marmalade. So, when icing is in polyethylene, it does not dry for a very long time! I put the leftovers in the refrigerator - a week, at least, guaranteed! And maybe longer - I didn't check it.
Lyubasha, thank you! And do you glue the house with the same icing or for gluing according to a different recipe?
I glue the house with chocolate icing, for me it hardens faster. And then I also go through the outer joints with icing - you can see the corners of the house in the photo, the ridge of the roof too, and then I also cover the place where the roof-attic is glued with an icing strip, not thick, the one that I make icicles. First, I glue the base with the glaze to the tray, then I draw a thick strip of chocolate on the base with a brush, where the rear end of the house will be. I also coat the bottom of the end wall with chocolate icing with a brush and put the first wall. As soon as she grabbed, I still hold her, there is a strip of shock across her from the inside. glaze and continue to the length of the side wall. Here, 1 time you need to contrive and hold the 1st wall with one hand, smear the edge of the lower side wall and the edge that goes to the end wall, and quickly put it. And it adheres very quickly to the 1st wall! And then you don't need to keep anything special! Basically - smear and apply. Only - it is imperative to glue the windows in before assembling - the marmalade will slide down by weight, and it can bend!
And the size of the nozzle? 1 or 2?
Ilona! It is not small - a medium closed star. Half of the houses were decorated with 8 slots, half - with 5 slots. Both look good.
