Today I want to share with you how you can decorate
valentines - hearts for the next holiday.
Hearts are gingerbread baked according to a recipe from
Aising made two consistencies. For drawing with embroidery on the steeper. Icing should be of medium consistency. Such that it keeps its shape and does not blur. For filling, the same icing was diluted with a few drops of water.
More information on icing can be found in the topics
Now draw horizontal lines in the same way.
Here I was also helped by my checkered mat on which the gingerbread lay. I tried to put the gingerbread evenly, so that the strip on the mat was exactly horizontal. She was my guide to draw the first line of icing exactly along the horizon. then the next strips were made strictly horizontally to the first applied strip.
All our mesh is ready.
Now we select the pattern we need. We count the cells and fill them with dots using the same nozzle and the same icing.
The dots should not go beyond the size of the cell. Otherwise, the pattern will merge.
Then I will only post a photo. They will show how a heart pattern and a diamond pattern are created.

Fill drawing
The contours were drawn with a denser icing. Its structure must keep its shape.
I did the filling - I spread the same icing with a few drops of water. The structure is spreading.
We draw a drawing using any sharp object. I have a mold.
We draw the contours.
I poured icing using a tip with a 3 mm hole.
I applied the lines tightly overlapping them with each other. Then she took the gingerbread and shook it slightly from side to side. icing spread and formed a flat surface. It is necessary to watch that the icing goes over the contours evenly and covers them.
That's probably all. I hope that my MK will be supplemented by girls who are already well acquainted with icing and know a lot of tricks and wisdom in working with it.
And a general photo.
What a beauty!
And what a painstaking work ...
But I, no matter how much I look at these wonderful gingerbreads, I think so much who will open his mouth for such painstaking work! From the mesh just in shock!
I would open
People! Throw a gingerbread at me! (and here eyes are like those of a cat from Shrek)
Yes-ah-ah .... A work of art !!!
I would admire for a long time ... But ... then I would bring it closer to my nose ... breathe in the aroma ... close my eyes ... and ... take a bite ... And then it's easier
After all, we look at the monitor and do not feel the alluring smells of baked goods with spices
Lyudochka, the valentines are great! (y) Thanks for the new, useful topic
What a beauty! Immediately tomorrow I bake gingerbread and start to learn icing decoration. And then all the mastic and mastic ...
Thanks for MK and recipes
I tried to paint gingerbread cookies for the New Year, I liked it, but very painstaking work, although I have simpler work. I tried to make a similar mesh - it's hard to be in a "frozen" pose for a long time, otherwise you can't draw even lines - my back aches, my hands tremble, but how do I like the result - so much magic and positive from them. Such things need to be presented to loved ones.
Luda, how long did you paint your gingerbread? Is the icing ribbon glued? And the gingerbread cookies, probably, should be immediately wrapped in a film after drying - how long do they remain soft (and edible)? I want to make it on Valentine's day, I will have a birthday, they will give all the gifts, and I will give them gingerbread, gingerbread ...
Anka_DL, Anya searched the entire Internet in search of an emoticon throwing gingerbread or at least Nea's heart, she did not find it. So don't think, I'm not greedy. I'm ready to share.
Today I packed them in separate boxes. At first they are all wrapped tightly in plastic. Then each is in a bag. And still the scent is on the whole house. I didn’t even think, but came from the street and I don’t understand. I didn't bake them today.
Wand, one big gingerbread takes about one hour. Small, of course, less, but somehow I didn’t time it. I wrote about the packaging. Wrapped in plastic immediately, after baking, as soon as they cooled down. Still soft. But I don’t know how long it will last. I made this recipe for the first time.
I liked this recipe in baking. Well, let's see the storage.
Satin ribbon glued on icing.
You know my back didn't hurt and my arms didn't hurt either. Iceing shouldn't be very cool here. Therefore, the hand does not get tired.
The lines and my first were not entirely even. but with time you adapt.
Firstly, you need to keep the nozzle at a distance from the surface of the gingerbread and then it is easier to follow where the icing thread lies.
Secondly, the checkmate with squares helped me a lot. I positioned the gingerbread so that the lines on the mat and the gingerbread were straight. And then it was just a matter of drawing the line according to the markings on the mat.
It didn't reach me right away. But as soon as I caught this moment. it became much easier to draw. I made the first line in the middle according to the markings on the mat, and then drew along this first strip.
Give it a try and share your results.
There are many decorating techniques.
Luda, does the icing under the film damp?
I also wanted to ask. The top big gingerbread in the photo - did you make a round hole for a candle?
lenkor, at first did not understand what you asked. I sat down to write an answer and it dawned on me. You mean the icing on the cookie already? If the icing is allowed to dry for at least an hour, then everything is fine. No, it does not damp. But I'm a hurry. And there is one gingerbread that ruined it. The glaze layer was apparently quite thick and the half hour that I gave him to dry was not enough. When the gingerbread is wrapped, it seems to be nothing. But she began to get it to take a picture and saw that the film stuck in one place and left a mark. I'll show you now.
I cut a hole for the candle in the upper heart before baking the gingerbread. The circle is cut a few mm larger than the diameter of the candle, since when baking the gingerbread rounds the edges and the hole becomes smaller.
huskyLuda, thank you very much for your answers.
A very interesting idea of a gingerbread with a candle - the perfect valentine gift.
