today experimented with the regime
Porridge / SOUP. As I understand it, this is an analogue of the MILK Porridge mode.
the instructions say about it: the default cooking time for porridge / soup is 1 hour. cooking time can be changed.in the morning there was milk rice porridge.
This one.
given the size of my family, the number has doubled. that is, the liquid turned out to be somewhere between 1.7-1.8 liters. I threw everything / poured it into a bucket, chose the desired mode and went about my business.
since I was well-read about the fact that milk porridges run off in some modes, I checked every 15-20 minutes. the porridge boiled and then continued to boil for the rest of the time. I could hardly boil. in my opinion - the very thing. light, small and rare bubbles.
on signal - excellent porridge, fully cooked. children asked for a supplement. :-)
then there was milk. it was necessary to boil milk for yogurt. I didn't dare to take three liters at once, I tried 1.5 liters.
I poured it into a bucket, put it back on the same mode, and again periodically ironed it. the milk boiled and continued to barely boil (as did the porridge).
the only caveat, can someone tell me WHAT happened ... 10 minutes before the signal, I opened the lid - everything was ok, at the signal I opened the lid in the milk there was a foam / crust like melted.
TASTE MILK NOT MELTED AT ALL !!! I took it off, poured it over the milk - it tasted and color like ordinary boiled milk. what kind of foam is this formed ???
well, the next was soup. I searched for a long time, I could not find a recipe for some, then I spat and decided to make our favorite pearl barley soup.
while I was reading topics about soups, I wondered: why does everyone make soups on the STEWING mode ... I still made soup on the porridge / SOUP mode.
I usually make soups without frying, but this time I decided to experiment to the fullest.
finely chopped onion + finely chopped carrots + minced meat - BAKE mode for 15 minutes. I add pearl barley (cup 240 ml), potatoes (5 medium pieces), pour cold water (3 liters), turn on the desired mode.
periodically peep and as before I see a slight boil.
on a signal, I get a soup with fully cooked cereals and potatoes.
p.s. I understand that nobody needs photos? more interested in technical nuances?
