Visiting Lisbon's cafes and restaurants is a real pleasure. The Portuguese love their cuisine, and no wonder: the menu is amazingly varied and the portions are quite generous. Traditional Portuguese restaurants compete with many ethnic ones. Stop by a Brazilian restaurant that serves a frequent buffet. Sample cold meats, fish and hot meats. There are many pizzerias, steakhouses, Chinese and even Indian restaurants in the city. Vegetarians are more suitable for ethnic restaurants, since in Portuguese, as a rule, everything is designed for meat eaters.
